Curious Sounds: A Radiolab Concert

  • Jad: Do you know Wilco?
  • Robert: That's sort of insulting! Do I know Wilco... who doesn't know Wilco?
  • Jad: Alright, I wasn't trying to insult you.
  • Robert: I even know Jeff... Twimbly.
  • Jad: Tweedy.
  • Robert: There ya go.
Alice wonders about mirror milk (by Meg Hunt)
If you do not already listen to Radiolab, please do RIGHT NOW. It’s a super-intriguing podcast that breaks down these really big ideas (sleep, falling, symmetry, etc.) into groups of anecdotes from scientists and regular people, making you think about these average, everyday concepts in mind-blowing new ways.
Or you could just follow them on tumblr until they astound you with their brilliance and make you realize that I’m totally right and you go and download every single podcast.

Can’t say this isn’t speaking directly at/to/with/for me…

I hadn’t heard of Radiolab until this past Saturday, so it’s funny this shows up now. Really thought-provoking… I didn’t used to “get” podcasts, but after listening to this, I’m kind of falling in love with the medium.

P.S. YAY LIZ GILBERT
